I am a dedicated and passionate Software Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from Kenyatta University. My expertise lies in full-stack web development, with hands-on experience in both frontend and backend technologies. I build dynamic, scalable, and responsive web applications using Django, Django REST Framework, React.js, and Next.js. I am also proficient in Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap for crafting visually appealing and mobile-friendly user interfaces. I also create both simple dynamic and static websites tailored to client needs, ensuring performance, usability, and aesthetic appeal. On the backend, I have worked extensively with MySQL and PostgreSQL for robust database management and data integrity, and I am familiar with PHP (OOP), Laravel and Vue.js. I have integrated APIs, handled authentication, and deployed full-stack applications using platforms like Netlify and Vercel. I have experience building and customizing admin dashboards using tools like Django Jazzmin and Strapi, creating user-friendly interfaces for different users including farmers and cooperative admins. I build secure, scalable web applications with clean code architecture, efficient APIs, and responsive user interfaces tailored for real-world use. I am proficient in using Git, GitHub, and GitLab for version control and collaboration, and have used Docker basics for containerization. I’ve contributed to real-world projects including CRM and ERP systems for cooperatives and saccos, where I participated in UI/UX enhancements, backend functionality, and API integration. I was involved in going through the dashboard of the shamba records system and together with team members, discussed possible enhancements, bug fixes and UI improvements. Maintaining the recorded information digitally using an online regression sheet document. My responsibilities included conducting user research and usability testing, which led to more intuitive user interfaces and increased engagement. I utilized modern technologies like Laravel, VueJS, ReactJS, Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL and MySQL to deliver scalable, maintainable codebases and set up admin panels for efficient data management.
